Most people searching for a gym do not search for a city. They search for whatever is near them — their neighborhood, their side of the highway, the route they already drive. So this page is the practical version: where we are, and what that means depending on where you live.
Where we are
Labyrinth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is at 6615 West Cross Creek Bend Lane, Suite #400, Fulshear, TX 77441.
That address is worth reading twice if you live locally: we are inside Cross Creek Ranch, on Cross Creek Bend Lane. We are not on the far side of Fulshear, and we are not in Katy.
By neighborhood
Cross Creek Ranch
You are in it. For much of Cross Creek Ranch we are a short drive, and for parts of it a walk or a bike ride on the trail system. If you are choosing between us and somewhere in Katy, the difference on a weekday evening is not five minutes — it is the difference between arriving relaxed and arriving late.
Cross Creek West
Directly adjacent, and one of the fastest-growing parts of Fulshear. You are minutes away, and you do not need to touch the highway to get here.
Jordan Ranch
East along the FM 1093 corridor. Straightforward and quick outside rush hour. Jordan Ranch has grown fast — its own elementary school is open — and a good number of our families come from that direction.
Tamarron
South-west, off FM 1463. Tamarron is enormous and still building — over four thousand homes planned — and zoned to Lamar Consolidated ISD with schools inside the community. If you are in Tamarron you have a real choice between Fulshear and Katy gyms; we are the Fulshear side of that choice.
Fulbrook, Churchill Farms, Fulshear Lakes and the older neighborhoods
All comfortably local. Churchill Farms is a smaller, established community of around five hundred and seventy homes; Fulbrook and Fulshear Lakes are similarly close.
Katy, Cinco Ranch and further east
We have a Katy presence too — Coach Jared Vevera is our head coach there. If you are east of the Grand Parkway, ask us which location actually suits your week better. We would rather you trained consistently at the closer one than heroically at the further one for six weeks and then stopped.
Timing it around school
The thing that decides whether an activity survives the school year is not enthusiasm. It is whether the drive works on a Tuesday in November.
Our kids classes run in the late afternoon and early evening, and our adult schedule runs from early morning through to evening — including 6:30 am classes several days a week, which exist precisely because some parents can only train before the house wakes up.
The full timetable is on the schedule. What is worth doing before you commit anywhere is the boring exercise: pick the class you would actually attend, and drive the route at that time of day, once. It answers the question better than any map.
A note on choosing by distance
Distance matters more than people expect and less than they fear.
It matters because consistency is the entire game in jiu jitsu. Two classes a week for two years beats four classes a week for three months, and the gym you can reach easily is the gym you will still be attending next spring.
It matters less than you fear because fifteen minutes is not far. If a gym twenty minutes away is clearly the right room for your family — the right coaches, the right feel, the right way of speaking to children — take the twenty minutes. Do not choose a place you do not like because it saved you eight minutes.
Go and look at two or three. Ours is free to try, as are most.
Coming to visit
We are in Suite #400. There is parking outside. Come about ten minutes early for a first class, wear a t-shirt and shorts with no zips or pockets, and bring water — we will lend you a gi if the class needs one.
If you would rather ring first, we are on (281) 393-7983.
